The first Belconnen Network Disability Expo was held on Wednesday the 25 September and was a fantastic success with a great turnout. This was a great initiative for us, along with Hawker College and Melba Copland, aimed at supporting students in years 10, 11 and 12 to explore future pathways. It showcased around 25 support services and providers ready to assist our young people in achieving their life and career goals, and building their wellbeing and sense of belonging and contribution to the community. The families, community groups and providers in attendance spoke glowingly of the event. Thank you to all our families and students who took the time to attend the event, it was lovely to see you all.
