We were thrilled to welcome a very special visitor - alumni Marianna Tolo!
Tolo is an Australian Basketball legend, a mainstay of the Opals and the Canberra Capitals, and she is a 3 time Olympian and Paris Olympics Bronze medallist!
She was one of our students in 2006/07, and she recently spent time with our current students, many of whom hope to follow in her footsteps. While here, she also signed her 'Hall of Fame' poster. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about her career, how to balance life as a professional athlete and how she has maintained elite levels of fitness and endurance. They were even fortunate enough to be able to hold the Bronze medal, an experience they will never forget. Thanks for visiting, Marianna!
